The Groove
The Challenge. The club scene is very challenging. We
live in a region that has not always embraced original artists
or music. When
people go out to clubs they want to be entertained and they usually
want to dance. Over the years many clubs have turned to
DJs and Karaoke. The Vision. The goal of The Groove was to avoid the
never ending battle to keep up with what’s hot at the moment. The vision was to focus on the groove and
music people will want to come and dance to – wrapped around
a performance like no other. Quite
simply, the best, most memorable dance tunes from the past three
decades. The Reality. Set envy. It was inevitable when we first dreamed
up the format and the list. By not limiting the sets to just one particular
decade we are able to mix The Killers, Duran Duran, Rick James and Chic
in a night of music that rivals no other act in the region. The Groove pulls it off in stride and avoids
all of the “Wedding Singer” clichés in the process. The Recognition. The Groove is already being recognized
